Do you fly in strange places?

Sat Jan 18, 2020 2:11 pm

Hi all!

I used to believe that you will need a flying field to fly your kites. But after having picked up quad lined flying, I soon realized that that’s not quite true. You can fly anywhere! Parking lots, gas stations, in forests, on piers, in the street, your imagination is the only limitation!

Do you have a strange flying location?

Why not share it on AERIALIS Kites, and let us all in on it!

Or why not post it here.

I nearly got arrested once for flying from Waterloo Bridge (at 5am on a Sunday morning - so not exactly too many people around).

Back in the '90s BARFing was a thing - Bridge And Roof Flying. Chris Matheson told me that he and Andy Preston nearly got arrested for flying pairs off of Clifton Suspension Bridge on their way to the Bristol Kite Festival.
Must fly
