So this question is always haunting me. Saw trick tutorials where the flyer had the strap around the wrist, but also saw some when it was simply held by fingers.
What's your preference? And why?

Wrist straps with first finger through the top loop to get more feel - until the wind gets up Narrow straps for under 10mph, CR contour straps above that.

Although,having voted for the wrist option,I have to admit that recently,finding myself on a crowded beach,the tide having not retreated far,I needed some shorter lines;so I wound some 25m lengths around plastic spools so that I could let out just enough to fill the space available and they felt pretty good

Sky claws, held a bit like rev handles for most circumstances.
D rings with a bit of flexible plastic tubing around the C bit and a length of bridle line to connect to thus:

held on index fingers; for the most marginal of light winds.

I can't believe you just said that...It's a bit like saying "I went through my wife's draws while she was out at work , tried on her underwear and it felt quoit nice".

I use Highwayman knuckedusters, JoE, HQ and Boas. The first two I use around ring finger only (with forefinger on the line), the HQs I use with ring and little finger, and the Boas (on my high wind set) I use either on the wrist or double looped with forefinger in one loop and the other fingers through the other loop.

1) I didn't say it ,I typed it
2) That bit in quotes features a redundancy.If you went through your wifes draws then you have already stated your predilection for cross-dressing.You may have,in the process,searched her drawers.
3) I'm not married,I suspect you are projecting.That's alright we're all friends here,you can tell us all about it.
4) Not withstanding the above,it is possible that one day I may admire a particular woman and think "I'd like to get inside her knickers"
