I have a question on the new Gemini setup...

Sun Jul 06, 2008 3:05 pm

Was wondering what the difference was with the new 'stock' Gemini changes: Tri-Star bridle, change to centre section geometry etc. ???

How does this change the kite in flight compared to say, my old Y2K Gem?

The new site and Gem colour schemes are banging :D

I fly my Gem ST withe the Tristar bridle of 2006 in stead of de cross-active bridle from the Bensontwins.

I standerd fly the Jumping Jack Flash STD SE en I compaire all kite with this one.

So I find de Tristar active bridle 2006 les overreacting with my inputs that I use for de JJF STD SE. It suits me beter.
I know that these two kite can't be compaired but I like to experience with bridles to make al my kite to react the same with my way of giving inputs.

If have put pigtails on the toplegs, inhauls and outhauls. So I can chance quickly a totaly other bridle (Cross-active Bensontwins to Tristar-active AbW2006)
I shell knot also the new tristar 2008 bridle (2,5 hours of knoting and measuring) to see if this one is better then the "old" one.

If you change the bridle I recomment you to make 6 pigtails to change the new bridle quickly on location and fly within 5 minutes the outher bridle to compair it without breaking up the kite.

(my englisch writing is not so ferry good but I hope you understand my writing)

Good luck

:D
