Hi, I have managed a good stable fade on an Outerspace but cannot get my Gemnini to stay in the fade, it just keeps putting its nose down and falling out regardless of wind speed or how quickly I step forward (and fall over). It is secondhand (pre owned for the PC) kite but the bridle looks OK. Grateful for any tips on what I might be doing wrong as I really like the kite in all other respects.

Gems are pretty good in a fade, maybe you should look to your technique as the source of the problem.

It is a trick that requires a lot of careful tending if you wish to control it, up/down/left/right, without dropping out.

There's as much there as learning to side-slide properly.

Does your Gemini have any added weights (normally added to the centre stand off or to the ends of the spines)?

This may make a difference to how it holds a fade...

Thanks, perhaps I have been seduced by the OS which just sits there until I make it come out. There are no added weights although I might try, as I have some on another kite that I can swap, and see what happens.
