hey all the advice seems to be working....too windy to get the DS out today, but i did have psycho out....though she won't hold fades,i did manage to get her from axels and half axels into fades.

Also can now consistantly get the kite from pancake on the ground - fade -half backspin - tipstand/ takeoff
:) so i'm pleased!

Surprisingly finger straps help me master this, perhaps they might be worth a try for you?

I made mine from HQ rainbow straps but the JoE ones in the FA shop are good as well.
All that matters in life is kite flying, love and work ….preferably in that order.

In the bag; Shhhhh... far too many to mention, don't tell the Missus!

I tend to use finger straps up to about 10mph anyway because of the extra feel they give me.

It looks as though it's coming down to trying to replicate the gentler pull I manage on the ground to the air. Just as I was taught!!!

Putting theory into practice is another matter, of course.
