Yes. Very elegant. Someone over here had it as a gif-animation with a Gemini of it as an avatar. I can only do it on a more or less smooth surface, with higher grass the kite gets always stuck with the nose. It seems crucial that the kite can freely rotate on it's back.

Sounds like a Sleeping Beauty Can be found on Prism Freestyle Pilot DVD as the Sleeping Beauty or Flight School as the Reverse Backflip Launch.
Not tried one yet. One of those 'must try next time I fly' tricks, just never get round to it.

Yes, I found that too. I like to take the time and swivel the kite back and forth to find a tuft of grass it can spin on

I have done it on the DS but with a very poor hit rate. Today I was flying the Cosmic and pulled off a few.
