New Line Sets (material)

Tue Jul 18, 2006 12:07 pm

Hi all

Just wondered what everyone would recomend for making my new line sets out of, I fly a rainbow jam at the moment. But am hoping to get a Level One Jump (thats a different post altoether!!). Currently I have a couple of linesets made from an unbranded Dyneema. They do seem to bind up with about 6 plus turns in them. I am after good performance but with the emphasis on durability.

Cheers

Dan

Shanti or Laser Pro Gold. LPG is slippier when new, but Shanti wears better (IMHO).

You can buy Shanti at the FA Shop.

Your Jump should come with a line set.

Just from the opinions ive read really. I hate to turn this into a 'recomend me a kite thread', but are there better kites out there for the money?

Cheers

You'll get lots of different recommendations from lots of users, it seems we all have our favourites.

Personally I think the French Connection offers a lot of "bang for bucks"
