I think that anyone can Cométe an SL7. The real bugger is doing it:-

a) deliberately
b) repeatedly

You may replace Cométe with any of your favourite tricks (ie; Axel, Flat Spin, Right Turn).

Mike.

Clockwise?

No, but I should have tried as I probably would have more chance of success on that weird thing!

I seriously loved flying it though, great fun. Maybe I picked it up easily because I've mostly been used to the oversteery kites.

One thing I noticed is that if the SL7 goes into that 'death spin', just start popping axels, then the problem is stopping it from multi-axeling into the ground

The comete it does is very flat, it's almost like it's flat spinning at different angles. I think Woody caught some footage before the battery failed, it would be nice to see it in slowmo.

Took my SL7 with me to Northumbria this past week, cometed it. I forgot how much fun SL7s are ( but I kept yanking my Nirvana out of the air afterwards )

I also managed to comete a bog stock Psycho on 50ft lines, dont ask about repeatability though I was flying it all day and only managed it 3 times

I can get mine to death spiral, does that count?

Anyway, I loved my SL7.....until I took it out @ Berck & found I could fly it properly, whereupon it immediately turned boring. :(
I'll just have to fly it in unsuitable winds.

You don't mean you could do straight lines and square corners with it, surely Vee?

Yup, took a little effort to adjust to the oversteering though. Tried adjusting the bridle too & could still do straight lines, corners & all the tricks I could normally do, deliberately, and without it doing anything bizarre. Boring see.

I'll still not be entering it for winter leagues though!
