Frontal setup for wrap/yo-yo

Sun Sep 27, 2020 10:15 pm

Another question if you guys don't mind:

Wraps following barrel rolls are second-nature at this point.
But from normal flying position, I'm struggling to get the kite nose to dip/sink into front flip position (in order to pop for the wrap).
The bugger won't cooperate.  In his tutorial, Benson looks like he's giving a fraction of slack before snapping both hands downward, as if striking a snare drum.
I try to mimic, but the nose just wobbles, there's never an authoritative dip.
Most videos show the trick being performed at top-centre of the window, which is where I keep trying also.

Any tips appreciated, but I know timing and feel can only be explained in words to a certain point.

The front flip isn't easy to master.  Your hand movements are about right. but you are probably not creating enough slack.  Try walking towards the kite as you make the hand movements.  (There is a caveat here as I haven't flown all year, so relying on memory!)
