Bigger kites I think are better for a noob. Less sensitive and generally fly in lower winds. I would get something 2.25m plus

If you are "very new" to kiting i would pass on the Kaos although I have never owned one, I have flown one a good few times & while it flys reasonably well & tricks to a certain extent, I found that it was a kite that needed you to be concentrating & on top of it at all times & not to forgiving, to sum it up in one word "Twitchy" also it is as said an old design kite things have come on somewhat. I think you can get a better bang for your buck with a kite of more modern design. Just my take on it of course.
