Similar sort of price (ish) depends on what kind of discount you'll get on the HQ stuff... your choice looks sound enough though, and others have sung praises. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rk-zkSN8o-g (turn the feckin' sound off though. ;-) ) keep you going for a while.

Wait for a decent 2nd hand one to come up here, in the meantime just borrow one from Bryan, he's got enough

Just been out for an hour on Bryans Level one Jump that he leant me... Man that thing is twitchy! its smaller than the others i flew, so i guess needs a little bit of wind to get going properly. wind was from the east over the town and super inconsistent. i spent a lot of time walking back to the kite to relaunch. buuuuut.. i think i managed to get my first axel.. im not sure. i deliberately did the flick and slack, it did a full spin and i recovered it. im still not fully clued up as to how different tricks look but it felt good! :D

i can get the infinity for £72 plus vat.. which i thought was pretty good for a £150 kite. but not going to buy for a while yet. if something really good comes up here i'll jump on it.

If you can get an Infinity for £72 I'd rip their arm off!!! I have one ( which cost considerably more) and it's a nice kite. Needs quite big inputs but very precise and tricks very well ( tricks better without the tail weight). The only problem is that it's impossible to get the Dynamic DT15 spars in the UK. Any chance HQ can get you any spares? If they can I'd be interested in buying a couple especially if you can get DT18's ( for the vented).
Current Bag:- HQ Shadow, Spiderkites Zodarion, Flying Wings Soul, Old blue HQ Jive , 'PAW' modded HQ Maestro II, Delta Hawk,

Hi Steve,

I have no idea about the spars. The kiteshop I work for gets its gear from winddesigns which is the UK importer for HQ. So I can get the kites at trade+VAT and delivery works out at about 90 quid. Perhaps contact winddesigns to see if they can get hold of them for you? Cheeers!

Just been out for an hour over your way Sammy... nice evening.

I ain't actually got that much left anymore, since the last couple or 3 clearouts. ;-)

+1 on 2nd hand top end, or else get your HQ, learn a bit while saving up and then treat yourself to something new.

You'll definately get more pleasure out of the higher end stuff though.
