Area51 (VF16 price)

Hi people,

I was lucky: in my first participation in VF I won a kite. So I made a little movie.

To be honest: it is a difficult kite to fly. It is only 1,8 m, so not that stable. I was told it is a Backspinmonster, but I prefer my Talons for backspinning... But it is just a fun kite to fly.
You can even see a Jacobsladder and MultiLazy in the movie. Crazy Copters (!) are very easy, but always out of frame...

Much appreciated. Good to see it on the end of the lines again.

It's not so difficult if you adopt the style of the time when it was new. It's not a Technical Freestyle kite but it's something you play with, reacting to the sometimes odd things it does rather than always trying to impose what you want. Nice if you're in the mood, annoying if you're not.

Keep on enjoying it. :-D
