Description
This is a ground recovery maneuver, rolling the kite from being on a leading edge to its wingtips.Execution
Primary Execution
Start with the kite on a leading edge, making sure the lines aren't wrapped around a wingtip. Let the wing which is in the air dip back slightly, then give a pop to it - while at the same time giving slack to the wing which is in contact with the ground. Since the kite is initially pointing downwards, you will be popping the opposite side hand. The kite should roll over onto its wingtips and be ready to fly. This recovery is easiest on curved-leading-edged kites, and slightly harder on bigger, straight-leading-edged kites.
