Moonie tape as used as a wear patch by Blue Moon on all their kites, now available for all kites.

This clear 1" wide polyolefin coated tape is .0065 thick and uses acrylic adhesive. It exhibits excellent abrasion and puncture resistance from temperatures of -40 to 225 ºF, making it excellent as protection for surfaces that experience heavy wear. Use it as a top spreader rub patch or to wrap lower spreaders to stop excessive bridle wear.

I have also used it for sail repairs, it works very well due to it's high tack acrylic adhesive which adheres readily to dry clean surfaces.

The product is supplied with a blue poly-film lining which protects the adhesive.
