Really good work by some pilots! I am sure there will be another name on the VF-winning-list this time! :=)

@Krijn

I tried a helmet cam this time just to see how it would work. I zip-tied a camcorder onto a bike helmet. It looks ridiculous and you can't really forget its there, but you can indeed move around rather freely.

I experimented to see how well it would work. I think with a smaller device, like the Veho Muvi, it could work well assuming that the video quality is usable. I ordered one during black friday for $50, so I will trying it out shortly. The nice thing about the Muvi is that is is thumb-sized and weighs only 50 grams - it is small enough to velcro to hat. This also has the advantage that it should be unnoticeable to the casual observer.

Great videos - they will be very difficult to judge this time for sure! :)

Score in - nice work all, thanks for playing, and well done Yan for taking up the task...

... one thing on the scores. Some of the names on the scoresheet don't match the names on the videos. I know everyone concerned, so wasny a problem - but some may not... (booty, Doc, Carlo...)

I still have a few left to judge but will have my scoring done soon. There is some really top notch flying here and some good effort by my fellow novices. I've even had to search through tutorials just to learn about some of the tricks and combos I'm seeing so I'm getting a good trick education from this :lol: Good luck to us all and thanks for putting this together Yan, its been lots of fun.

Scores in. A few suggestions if I may on filming. FIrst if your going to be in front of the camera make sure the camera is at an angle to you so the kite is in view the whole time. Can't judge tricks if they can't be seen and a nice backside doesn't up your score :lol: Filming from the side of the kite makes it hard to really tell what the kite is doing at least for me and that also makes it hard to judge. Good luck everyone and good flying from all.
