Shipping Tubes (again)

Sun May 10, 2009 1:33 pm

Just selling off some kites at the moment and don't have enough tubes to ship them out in.

I've found a few previous posts on the subject, but since RM keep on changing the rules, I thought it may be better to ask the question again.

Are tubes more acceptable than home made triangular boxes and, if so, where's the best place to pick some up from?

Tubes are best because you can go longer with them than boxes (triangular are considered to be boxes), I cut them down to 90cm which is the max. length for Special Delivery and foreign delivery. You can go to 1.5m but only as a parcel, so no SD or foreign delivery, although you can get extra insurance to cover the value.

I buy in bulk from ebay.
