Googling for windspeeds

Tue Oct 14, 2003 8:47 am

I was looking at the aerialis forum and having not had my morning coffee yet was wondering how I could convert the oft-used m/s into a more familiar mph when talking about windspeed.

I decided to google for a conversion program (how lazy?) and discovered the google calculator...

Go to http://www.google.com and type:
10 m/s in mph
or
10 mph in m/s

Clever no?
Works for all kinds of conversions, and the numbers can be spelt out or in numerals... even does sums in roman numerals.
