They're nice... but don't look like roll-ups.

Are the Prism "speed bags" (up to 7 kites) roll-ups?

to be honest i dont think for one minute that it matters that they say *insert fishin' brand here* or it says radsail HQ or prism, the fact is most muppets think that kites are fishing rods anyway, hell at the moment i use a hocy stick bag for mine that has slazenger megacat emblazoned all over it but the lemmings still ask if i am going fishing. If they are gonna get nicked then they are gonna get nicked

You're right...

I'll be likely to jump on any well-built, well-priced ROLL UP bag, be it for fishing, kites, hockey, or fencing.

come on "roll-up" bags are for ponces and posers
(problem with roll-ups is all those clips and getting the whole thing open just to get one kite out.
what you need is a MLD bag unfortunatly only from the US at the mo.

Up here, zippered ski and snowboard bags are the business. I use a ski bag - cost next to nothing, can take serious abuse without falling apart and holds around 10 kites, which is plenty - I almost never fly more than 3 of my own kites during a session anyway.

It also has no ski manufacturer logos printed on it, which is nice. I get enough of the "Heading to the Alps?" questions as it is.

Roll-up bags are impractical for kiting. Always full of sand & snow, have to be opened fully to extract one kite, etc etc.

We don't exactly get a lot of sand either.

Now... I fancy a winter fly over the Witterings. Wonder if you still have to sell your own granny to park there out of season.
