I saw you there... and defending JW as well?

I'm thinking about chipping in on the coca-cola front, but not sure I want to...

Too late Jeremy, you're now officially classified as a Welden ally. Might as well put on that bright orange Prism t-shirt and start flying your kites below eye level exclusively.

What, and have the world (well the GWTW world) laugh in my face... hope not
I'm happy to state an opinion and if people do not agree so be it. It's a free world (well not quite if Barclaycard have their way).
The Coca cola thing was just one instance where a symbol of a product (packaging) almost trancends the product. When have you ever thought you could murder an ice cold Safeways cola. Hey, give me The Real Thing
Though I agree bags are bags are bags, Johns point regarding where does immitation go beyond flattery is a mute point, and when we start talking about one kite appearing to resemble another then we are back on shakey ground.
Okay, enough is enough.
When you see me, laugh in my face

Welden can be a rather funny guy at times IMO, but he's so rabid when it comes to Prism that it mostly overshadows whatever reasonable opinions he might hold on a given subject. I'm 100% sure he realizes he's wrong from time to time - he's not stupid, you know - but he has a reputation to uphold and thus can't back down.

When he sees he's in danger of being out-argumented and can't defend himself, he turns on the mega-offense instead, and that's usually when things go bad (or good, depending on what sort of action you want from your kite forum :P ) and 12-page topics ensue.

As to this bag issue... I'm sorry, it's hard for me to even comprehend that we're actually debating the looks of kite bags with neck veins bulging. It's insane. Still, it's like a car crash - you can't help watching.

I'm cool with it Juha

Kites, kite bags, kite people - how introspective does it get.
Is there a psychologist in the house....
