So... did a bit to music tonight. My first impression is that it's hard.

My second impression is I need to know more tricks, and chain them together better.

My third impression is that it's knackering to fly to Foo Fighters with a Gemini.

Also: Don't fly to Foo Fighters with a 3D... you'll break the lines.

In the end it turned out not so much flying TO the music as much as flying with some music playing.

Don't be too concerned... I was using my Nomad Zen, so I had 11 days worth of music... if you want to be freaked out, try standing in the middle of a field at dusk listening to Aphex Twin... that'll send the chills down the back of your neck.

I hit Learn To Fly and the kite went mad, so I selected a few prime FF tracks to freak out to. Went back to Massive Attack for the warm-down.

Did my first neat double axel to All My Life though... my shoulders are aching this morning..

Doesn't it get lonely in here ?

If you want FLIC's regular music you could snag it from http://www.webflic.fr.st/. They normally fly to Welcome and even have a drunken dance routine.

Then again FLIC have a drunken everything.

They're nice people, you just wouldn't want them in your front room. :-D

Mike,
just visiting.

Suits us just fine as a club forum   It's early days yet, and we're having fun, which is all that counts to us. The occasional guest drops by, and that's cool. When we want company we go elsewhere to make trouble... ;) ;)

Wow... the website's certainly very ... french... Is their music composed especially for them?

I imagine not, those Revs would scare the cats...

Mike,
just visiting.

Come back soon... it gets lonely in here... ;) ;) ;)

This wouldn't be Mr Emery would it? ... can't be that many Zippys around, let alone ones that have witnessed the shear drunken wildness of FLIC :-D

If it's the same Zippy8 as the one on GWTW then, yes it is...

Come on then... I want to hear what Team Flic do when they get drunk in people's living rooms... there's obviously a story (or 10) here...

I do know I enjoyed watching them terrorize the lemmings of Southsea on the Friday before the festival almost as much as watching their routine on Sunday!!

There's only one Zippy8

Never had the pleasure of a FLIC personal visit. I think I'd move rather than have that happen  but I've spent time with them in Berck. It's fun in a once-a-year-then-12-months-off sort of way. That applies to Berck and FLIC :-D

I think they steal their music cleverly, rather than have it composed. Flying to presonalised remixes is very in vogue just now.

Mike.

They are certainly a fun bunch... just make sure you leave the bar before them so you don't have to pick up their tab. :)

Hmm... I think *we* need a club reputation, apart from the one we probably have on GWTW right now :? :?

We should challenge Flic to a drinking competition...

I still have the scars from the last drinking game I played with them and their 'metres' of beer. Be warned!
