I don't think Fractured Axel is sad and 80's enough.

How about Fractured Axxxel?

Or to go totally Def Leppard and have
Phrakchard Acksull?

Hmmm Martin, think you may well have me over a barrel over the manly bands. Tried to think of some girl alternatives
lunachicks
babes in toyland
hole
L7

all seem a little obsessed with proving their girliness (which was particularly understandable in the case of lunachicks and the butch guitarist from L7!)

Besides I rather like FA shortening,
Ellie (a converted axelette)

i think u have something there....

I liked the tagline too, but didn't want to say anything before you did... I suggest we leave this subject open over the weekend to see if any of our absent members decide to say anything while they're off work, and then make a decision on Monday...

Then we can start working on a logo...

That sounds like a plan to me

the only other thing that sprung to mind is singular or plural

FRACTURED AXEL

FRACTURED AXELS

For me, singular... otherwise it's more like "The Fractured Axels"... which sounds like a west-country skiffle band or something.

ok we have had no input from anyone else so i take it we are all in agreement that

"FRACTURED AXEL"

is the only reasonable name for the club.....

i will book us all in for the mullets [-(

if we all agree we can start working on a logo then the website revamp

Yep... I think we can safely go ahead with the name. We got a quorum and a majority anyway.

I was going to knock up some concepts for the website, just large jpegs or inactive html pages that'll show what I think, and then we can start picking them apart. I'll start a new thread for that.

A logo needs to be done more urgently than the website, really, then we can get some cards done to give out to people we see out flying.

Want me to buy FractureAxel.com and point it to trickkite.tk?

sure if ya wanna,

i was looki ngat the link to the scooter page you gave me, i have been playing about with a photo of a gemini, i reckon the right side of a gemini blurred overlapping the right side of the page in a similar fashion to the scoote site would rock, i will try to do a mock up tonit and see what u think

I was thinking something very similar... For starters we'll use stock photos, but I'd like to end up using all our own pictures. Although we'll need to buy some new kites to ensure a good spread of photos... ;) ;)

I got some nice buttons on the go too.

Do you know the Nameserver IPs for Trickkite.tk?

We need proper webspace then, if it's just on NTHell... The people who host rochan.co.uk are cheap and offer good expansion and tons of services if we decide to upgrade stuff in the future. We can also transfer these forums there so we got proper fracturedAxel forums...

It's gonna be £30 for a .com for 2 years,
or a tenner for a .co.uk or a .org.uk for 2 years.

Webspace with email and stuff will be about $25 - $30 / year. I mean, we can go with NTL or our BTO stuff for a while, but it's worth getting proper webspace... as it'll just work better
