Nice stats... good to know someone's looking.

We'll forward trickkite.tk to the new URL so that anyone with the old address bookmarked will get to the new site.

Reckon we should go for the expensive .com or the cheapo .co.uk address? Or both... lol?

Bollox to it... It's the easeist domain to remember. It's just 3x the price.

Up to the club really...

With a .com it's going to cost £30 + $23.40 (£15) = £45 set up charges, and I don't know who's going to be in on paying that, as Chris still hasn't signed up or made much conversation here.

With .co.uk it's gonna be £10 + $23.40 = £25 set up...

It's just how convenient do we want the URL to be? rochan.co.uk does okay... plus we do want to be more or less exclusive to the UK. It doesn't really concern me that americans don't 'naturally get' our URL because we're using a strange foreign one.

Freeparking's where I shop for all my domain name needs... but I reckon we should have independent webspace too, as it makes admin easier (you can access the stuff from anywhere - you won't be able to upload files to ntl from work, for instance, and I won't be able to upload files there at all), gives us more webspace, a few email redirects, some advanced features, such as perl, php, and a mySQL database.

These hosts are solid... very good blokes. And the cheapest I've ever seen. This forum is run on their server.

OKay... that's a plan.

I'll buy it this evening and set up a simple redirect over trickkite.tk for now.
