Fractured Axel

Hey there everyone - been ages since I was on this forum last

But w Summer around the corner (NZ) I’m wanting to purchase a new kite

Last one I got rid of was a Superfly STD - found it a tad too zippy - but I think I was just flying in a bit too high winds

I really love my JoE Talon UL. Nice and gentle in the sky (I love to Fade & slow Axel) - but obviously a faster kite is required in slightly higher winds

So am looking at either a DS or Supernova from Tim

Any other recommendations?

Nothing gentle about the Talon UL, its a great kite although you might struggle getting hold of a new Talon these days as I'm not sure if Mark is still building. You wont go far wrong with a Benson kite and between SuperNova and DS I would go DS all the way. Welcome back.

The DS vs SF convo I had years back mirrors what you say about the SN

I’ve always wanted a DS and having a Talon UL and a HQ Shadow for light winds - I think a DS std would complement the set
