Quiver quest!

Wed Nov 07, 2018 5:30 pm

I believe the time has now come where I am considering my next level kite as an upgrade from my one and only kite... a Skydog Learn To Fly.
In all honesty, I’ve been considering this for a while now and I’m aiming for a Benson DS, but until this beautiful day comes, I think I can manage a small upgrade. With that in mind, I open myself up for suggestions...

Hi Big T, thanks for the heads up. I’ve spoken to Iftah about that one already. Great kite, but just not that cost effective getting a second hand one from abroad against a new one directly from Benson over here.

I really wouldn't bother, just save your money for the DS.

I think you’re right, better investment in the long run I guess!

Craig's advice is spot on.  A DS is probably as good as anything to improve your flying on.  A Talon or a Seven would be pretty good bets too, if you spot any coming up second hand.
Buy cheap, buy twice.

Just out of curiosity, is it still possible to buy JoE Talons new?

I think Mark sold the last one not too long ago.

You never know what Mark is up to these days and quite often he has something available. He is contactable on here but you will need some pennies saved. Talons are slightly more expensive than the DS but Mark is the person to speak to. You will find Mark by searching Jest_of_EVE
Steve

In the bag
Talon UL, Talon standard(x2), Talon vented, Talon SUL Prism Q Pro, Elixir, Zephyr, E3, E2, Hypnotist, Nexus, 3D, Micron

That’s good to know. I hear they’re amazing kites so glad to hear there may be some around for the future. Nice one!
