Thanks for the suggestion Roy... I was thinking of a new theme, but hadn't had time to look. It will likely fix all the formatting issues. I've come to dislike Tapatalk too, but after I've looked at Roy's ideas, if people still want it I'll integrate it.

I know the header looks crap at the moment, but I will be changing it soon, I promise.

I'll check the COLON thing on my Mac later (Looks OK on my work RedHat box in FF and Chromium.)

Also not working for me on my work laptop: Win8.1 Enterprise & IE 11.0.96 / FF ESR 41.1.1 browsers.

Time for a colonoscopy?

Either Andy has just pressed a magic fix it button or going into my profile and altering some of the profile settings has changed something. The language was set to English (US) and the timezone was set to UTC. Changed a couple of notification settings, as well, but doubt it was that. My best guess is that it was the time zone as it wasn't displaying properly when I tried to move it off UST.

Now working in all 3 browsers on our Mac and both browsers on Win 8.1 Enterprise.

Now back to work. :(

That's it!

I could see actual colons until I logged in, then they became "COLON" again.

Saw your post, went into my profile, changed language from English U.S. to English British and Robert's your father's brother

Hope that's not too widespread a problem. I can't see a way to force English British, although it IS the default language pack. Nor can I remove US English.

There's something very strange going on when English (US) is selected. The COLON definitely returns and the select current time field shows as ARRAY rather than time options. Something's not quite right somewhere.

Not sure how our friends across the big pond are going to cope having to select proper English. ;)

Think that's better?

*edit... somewhat anyway. I know what's up with the COLON problem anyway. Fix incoming..

There we go.. bit of an odd one. Half the en_us language pack was missing from the upgrade.

Yep, that's worked wonders. Can change to English (US) without it buggering up the timezone stuff.

Whilst we are on the subject of requests (if indeed we are!!) and at the risk of being slightly pedantic, I think the left hand border of each post used to be fixed width and now it's variable. I realise that I'm complaining and I'm the one with the avatar that is causing it to be misaligned. Just looks a bit messy, although I could resolve that by not posting. ;)

That's a theme thing. We'll see how it looks in a new theme.

putting my hand up for tapatalk support - old dinosaur that I am, I still use it to follow a number of forums on my mobile devices.
If it's a total PITA, then I'm sure I will cope after a period of grumbling ;-)
