Morning all,
Thought id introduce myself as ive just joined. My names Matt and im 28, father of 3 (1 daughter, 1 step-daughter and a little boy due 30th September), im from Cheshire, logistics manager for a medical supplier and newly, 110% addicted to kiting.
Im currently flying my first ever kite - Spirit of Air Impact (not sure if theyre good but i love it) - i only started 2 weeks ago and literally have cravings every day to head out.
Ive got the basics down but struggling with stalls at the minute. Ive also got a quad line HQ Mojo in my sights as they look amazing.
Ive definitely got the kiting bug and im pretty sure ive got my 2 girls addicted too as theyre constantly asking to go and fly their kites. Excuse for me to take mine out! ;-D
Anyway, im hopefully youll see me around more and if anyone is nearby, id love to tag along for some hands-on kiting sessions to improve my skill set.
Cheers for reading,
Matt.

Hi Matt, welcome to the forum.
Lots of people here who can help you out with any questions and I think there are a few fliers in the Cheshire area you may be able to meet up with.
By the way, if you're interested there is an HQ Mojo on Ebay at the moment finishing tomorrow ( not mine) - 201150568047
Have fun with your new hobby!

Matt, welcome to this forum and to the world of kite-flying. Be aware that more kites will follow the first one ..... Many more in fact, but there are far worse addictions!

Ask around here before you decide on any new kites as we can give advice on what is most suitable.
You might find these helpful too.

Welcome to the forum.
There is loads of help on here that you will get.
Does the kite you have come with line on halo (round handles where you let as much line out as you want) or lines and wrist straps?

Having a good set of lines that are the same length are the best start.
I still use a stake when setting up as this also means I can check the line lengths each time I set up.
Did you say you have a hq mojo?

I personally prefer the rev than the mojo. I found the mojo not as stable, twitchy and needed more wind.
But I do prefer the look of the mojo.
