L'Atelier have introduced an option list approach to some of their kites.

You can have a base model Curve with P3X and 6mm frame, no tail weight or yoyo stoppers.
One up from that is the the same frame with those freestyle essentials.
And then you can pimp that frame to 5PT as well.
Beyond even that you can have a semi- or full Aerostuff version.

I suppose it's a bit like the Golf GTi.... in theory you can have it with steel wheels and no radio (base model Curve), in practice everyone has at least that (Pack Free) and that's probably as much as anyone really needs. Some people go on to add optional leather interior (5PT) and there's always some flash git with trick paint, spinner rims and a sound system that can be heard on the moon (full Aerostuff).

And then he slaps some gaudy-go-faster applique on it.

Very tasty kite indeed. Do not expect fast yoyo's (2 pops are there). Very nice presence on the lines. Very solid in flight and corners. Being a l'atelier kite it is backflip happy.

I've only tried the AS version. It's featured in this video (in light wind), first kite:

Wow... and tumbling down the rabbit hole I go... Thought i was hooked before and now it's like the fisherman has jerked the rod, just to make sure the hook is not coming out before reeling me in!
Thanks for that video and a link into another world!
