There is NO stunt kite page for Kiwis here

Ive seen fairly ok growth on this page so far...both support from the international and local people :)

I emailed the NZKA here..unfortunately...I didnt get too much enthusiastic support...I think the NZKA seniors are a little...um....older in their enthusiasm..

The NZKA doesnt even have a Facebook page...someone was supposed to do one...but whoever it is doesnt seem overly keen lol

I'll be working in NZ from the start of July until mid September. I'll be based most of the time in Christchurch, although potentially working a week or two in Auckland.

I'm aiming to squeeze a kite into hold luggage even though it will be winter - are there any flyers on the south island yet?

And there'd Id be..stranded in the middle of the country lol..

Most of the flyers in NZ tend to be single liners I was told by NZKA..although Ted Howard in Nelson (pretty far from ChCh) flies dual sometimes...

Perrin Melchior in Auckland and Marcel LaGrand in Hamilton are both dual enthusiasts...theyre members of my page :)

I've linked to it in the Kite Flyers 2.0 page.

You're in a pretty good position there internationally for festivals. There's a lot going on in Asia.

Am I being silly or is it a page you can just like, not join?

Now based in Christchurch and the Superfly survived the baggage handlers, so if there are any local flyers would be interested in a meet-up...

Are you having issues??

Strange - you should easily be able to join -

As for interested flyers in Christchurch Im not currently aware of any in the city...I wish you had come to Wellington - I would have been out with you in the next wind! - very selfish of you haha :P

As a note...you probably have the ONLY Superfly in the country
