Since the term value implies the difference between the direct and indirect costs of purchasing it (such as the location of purchase and thus time to get there as well as actual cost) and the overall enjoyment of the item...

Thus comparing a Benson Outer Space (high end) with any kite below it has the same relative value for me proportionate to my skill level

Example - I cant do a Fade on ANY kite so the enjoyment of learning the Fade on ANY kite is the same regardless of the learning curve some kites offer

For me, the kite I was sent by Kaos is of HUGE value to me as shipping costs were all I had to pay

Saying this, my budget kite which I havent flown since which costed me $25NZD still has a decent amount of value to it...its faster, has longer lines, and I can be more 'rough' with it - that contributes a lot to me as a learner
