One Sky One World Event & Mass Fly in @ Great Yarmouth

On Sunday 9Th October 2011 from 12.00 onwards Thorpe Kite Flyers will be holding a mass kite fly with flags and banners as well in aid of Children in Need.

Location;

Great Yarmouth North Beach, Near Munchies cafe
2 North Drive, Great Yarmouth, NR30 4EX

Members of the public are welcome to bring their own kites and join in the fun.

Please note: Power Kites and Buggies will not be allowed however, power kites could be flown down towards the Britannia Peir away from the static kites display area.

Here's me on the end of the straps flying my Micron train. Hopefully i'll be in action trying to get this lot airbourne again to score an instant 14 as I hope to add another kite before the day!

All that matters in life is kite flying, love and work ….preferably in that order.

I managed to get the extra kite stacked and got all 14 into air.
Thanks to all who attended we managed 326 kites and collected £128 for
Childeren In Need.
