Post Hinckley Winter League and TP workshop 11th April
Technically of course, we'll be into British Summer Time by then, but with Easter, Calke Abbey, the indoor meet and Mothering Sunday, there ain't many weekends left before the summer season kicks in.

OK, usual winter league stuff for them's interested - a bit of BFD coaching in-between times for them's that want it and the Tricks Party workshop for those considering taking part later in the year but don't really know what it's all about.

We'll definatley do at least another couple of workshops round and about before the main TP event at the end of July, but I'd suggest that coming along to one would be a big benefit if you're thinking of joining in.

There'll be a bit of prep. work this end, so an idea of numbers would be nice. ;-)

No, you have to be there for Tues/Weds/Thurs and the world championships, the rest is just another kite festival :-)

I might bring Jakey along as he's been wanting to try Winter League and needs some coaching. Cam's busy that day though.

We're returning from holiday in France that day so there's a small chance we may call in later on.

It would appear from this thread and messages, that there'll likely be a good turnout for this, much more for the Better Flying Day coaching and a few for TP wokshop, not so much the winter league though (just Caron thus far).

How's about a last show of hands with an indication as to what you might wanna do... BFD, TP or IRB - just to cut down on paper-work if it ain't needed y'understand.

Incase you haven't been before, Google map

and post code.

BFD and TP for me really, I had thought about trying some of that precision stuff, but only to see if I liked and to be able to say I tried it..... mostly I just wanna fly with some like minded folk. :-D

Encroaching on the sailing season for me, so might be under some pressure from 'Er Indoors' to give this one a miss.

Will be down if I can and, if I do make it, I'm really there for the BFD stuff, but will be happy to partake in any TP workshop.

Like Yan, the best motivation for the 2 hour trip down to Hinckley is the company (not forgetting Bryan's pork pies, chutney, etc ).

Bryan probably covers more miles than anybody if terms of supporting the UK trick kiting scene and is always ready to pass on his undoubted knowledge, so this is one event which is well worth turning up to since you're bound to go way having learnt something new.

Hope to see you there.

Hi Bryan.

I'm up for a bit of BFD action (weather permitting of course).

Cheers,
Martin
