Belgium coast

Fri Jun 05, 2009 7:38 am

Does many one know of a place on the Belgium coast where you can fly sport kites. It seems that every time I have been there, between 9:00 and 18:00, the coast is “wall to wall” (or shoulder to shoulder) people. :-(

I am looking for a place where you can fly your kite(s) without people walking right into the center of the window. :x

Any information will be appreciated. :) :-)

I have been to DePanne on the french belgium border a few times and never found it hard to find a spot to fly.Could well be the nicest place I've flown at.

de panne to koksijde... big beach there...
oostuinkerke to

zeebrugge is an empty beach, so is bredene most of the time...

stay away from knokke, blankenberge , oostende...
but heist or duinbergen are ok...

if your looking for trickkiters... koksijde (near windekind or ster der zee)
zeebrugge has a trick-meeting every third sunday of the month I think
