Hi Mark, Yes my kites (or some of them ) have travelled to most of the original European countries as well as Thailand,Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. All of which were very different for winds. Thailand was an experience as where I was they had not seen two line kites and I often had an audience with their single line traditional kites.

I've not flown my kites outside of Europe, but I can recommend the beaches of the French atlantic coast, Brittany and Normandy, Portugal and Holland. What would be good would be if you could coincide your holiday with a kite festival - there are a few in France on the north coast. You could even try and hook up with some of the european flyers who post here - I managed to get an afternoon fly-in with two guys on a beach in Holland when we were on holiday there a few years ago.
