Right... not that it will matter too much, 'cos there way are too many lines on my kites anyways, and I'm always banished to the far corner of the field - but - I've just learned I've got to go to the pub tonight and drink beer. This usually results in my being fit for nothing until mid afternoon the following day (it's an age thing :-)). So, despite the fact that I live only a mile and a half away from Wykin - there is a very strong possibility that I may not make this one after all ??

If I don't make it - have fun... If I do - be kind, I'll be a little delicate probably.

Cheers,
STEVE.

A fly in at the Beasley home patch without a Beasley in sight. Tis just not right.

With age comes wisdom. It's a shame that that wisdom doesn't give us any better an ability to identify which pint is the 'one too many' until the morning after. ;)

Come on down Steve. We have the ideal recipe for hung over Rev fliers.

We'll let you fly in your own bit of the filed and we won't talk to you. :P

Hope to see you tomorrow.

Just checked out the forecasts for tomorrow.

Sunny, 5-6 mph.

Does it get any better (especially in March!)?

See you there (and don't forget the sun cream).

I didn't get there till mid afternoon, due to wifey person insisting on me taking here somewhere first - well ya gotta earn your brownie points lol
However, nice chilled afternoon flying kites, even if my stunt kite stayed in the bag due to lack of wind for its range
Was just leaving at five, when my bro turned up, so back out for another hour with the Cody :) - Was unhappy with the way I had secured it to the reel, so had to let all 200metres out to rectify - oh damn

Was an amazing day, even if I was only there for a few short hours.
Everyone's help was really appreciated and I can't wait for a bit more wind so I can take the sin out!!
The Talon was really really nice and I think I will start saving up for one. I hope by the time I have learnt the basics on the sin and I hope some nice tricks I will have enough for the Talon.
Just a colour scheme then :-)

Great day out.

Wind was a bit up and down, but very flyable even with the lighter standards.

Good feedback on the Black pearl, but probably not quite as good as for the TNT.

Nice day chaps.

I feel like Roy from Close Encounters of the Third Kind.....I'm all sun burned on one side

Flew a TNT for the very first time and loved it. It's a kite that has a certain quality and I can now understand the feedback on it. It immediately felt 'familiar' and accessible, everything just poured out of it on command with minimal 'new kite' learning curve. Lovely kite that gets my kisses of approval.

Sorely missed the rugged-looking Beasley boys ;)

Very drole ! You may have to wear that phantom of the opera mask we talked about next time !

I have colour matched myself against the dulux colour chart and I seem to be somewhere between a raspberry sorbet and a sunset surprise .... Needless to say it's not a good look ! :(

Great day, the TNT is vunderbar! The new bridle held up too !

I enjoyed that Black Pearl, Talon and the vortex too ! =D>

Old muggins here had some sun cream in his bag as well, but never quite got round to applying it. #-o

Hadn't realised my mistake till I got in the car and looked in the mirror!

Now, where's the after sun?

Ahh bless y'all...

... There's usual one rugged, and one plain rough though. ;-)

I'm glad that conditions were kindly for you this time round.
