Re: Another ' Not a BFD' Fly In - 4th March

At Mallory park race circuit 6 miles from Wykin. Now 10am and the rain has not eased all morning and is steady. There is total cloud cover. I think this is here to stay. Winds slightly moving tops of trees. Maybe more maybe less at Wykin.
Needless to say even with this rain the bikes are still hammering around the track. (Brave guys indeed)

Arrgh! Got back from church to find a water-related emergency (garden, not house) so today will be spent fixing that instead. Boo.
Love Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Needs to fly more, now that I can.

Was great to meet you Bryan, even if it was wet and cold.
Least I now know where the field is for the future and am looking forward to flying there in the future.

Started snowing here now, so I think we did the right thing to stay at home. Not like me to wimp out but in the last couple of Sundays I've flown :

1) in the snow with the kites into the cloud/fog and the lines icing up.

2) in the sunshine ending up with a pink forehead and nose.

... and this week I'm even taking a day off to practice ready for WSKC, Stephen Hoath is such a slave driver. :-)
