Windguru currently suggesting over 19mm rain during the day tomorrow at Hinckley.

If that doesn't improve, I shan't be voting with my feet, by putting them up at home!!

Would be interested in what the general consensus is from those that were intending to come.

Do we reconvene without Bryan later this month or go ahead anyway?

I'm still planning on going over if others are. But am happy to push back to later in the month if others want to. I can do both!

Weather is indeed looking a tad iffy at this late stage.

I will, however stick my bonce out the window in the morning and see what gives.

Chance of participation in the precipitation: Less than 50% :(

Making a final decision in the morning, but not expecting to travel as things stand.

Am looking to plan a rerun (unfortunately without Bryan) later this month, when hopefully the weather gods will deal us a fairer hand.

If anybody's got a strong preference for dates, post away.

Otherwise, I'll be sorting out a mutually convenient date for some of the regulars and posting it here.

You still gonna make it anyway then Harvey? Even if its hammering it down I'll be there. I've got my waterproofs and maybe see about flying

This is the weather live from Mallory park race circuit at 0830 Sunday. I am 6 miles from Hinckley. There is heavy rain with full dark cloud cover. This looks as if its here to stay. I will try to update at about 10am if I can get time and a mobile connection.
I was going to nip over to Hinckley for an hour or two but think I will give it a miss.

Sorry guys, I'm baling out. Forecast heavy rain and winds gusting 25-30 mph.

Too much time & cost involved in going down on spec for what will probably turn out to be no flying.

We will look to plan a rerun probably later this month - proposed date to follow.

In the meantime, I hope you guys that turn up will prove me wrong and have a good fly.

Doesn't look like it... Understandable - it's nasty out there.

I have a couple of hours to kill, so may well ride out anyway in case anyone has made the trip. Hardly worth it though.

I think I'll head over and maybe stay around an hour or so. Will get there about 10.30.
I don't know where it is, so least I can find that out. And I might get a kite wet if there is some wind and the rain isn't to heavy
