Nipped down to Hinckley to check out Wykin park today. Spent a great 4 hours flying. Seems a good location to get any breezes that are going. Hopefully get there next week as well.

You Rev flyers could be smiling knowingly at us duallies.

Windguru is showing 29mph gusts at the moment, but at least that's better than last nights forecast. I'm hoping that the notorious unreliability of long range forecasts comes into play and we end up with a nice sunny day with a 6-8mph wind.

What's life without hope? ;)

And 24 hours later, it's showing no rain and max gusts of 13mph.

What's a man supposed to think? :?

Probably to stop looking at weather forecasts until a day or so beforehand.

I dont know any of you fellas but I'm quite tempted to come and throw up my selection of non-rev revs and show you my two line skills..which ammount to fly it one direction and fly it back the other :)

The only trouble is my gf lives there and Im due at hers the following weekend, if i change she will ask why, i will say kiting and she will sigh and assume I only want to see her for her nice park ;)
Clearly, I'm part of the problem.

I sense a potential revvy take over here :-)... well more lines between us anyways - it is a NOT BFD after all :doubt:

@ Jezza - bring the GF along - she'll soon get bored in the cold and leave you in peace - usually happens to us anyway - only our Bryan's missus shows dedication in all weathers with camera etc... although i believe she'll be round at mine in the warm on this one.

Well it looks like I'm in Hinckley that weekend now anyways so I'll be there about 11.30-12ish providing it has some sort of wind (I dont mind cold or drizzle).

I'll bring my bag of revs, chinese alba's and some custom WS2LK's so if anyone wants a go on anything or test something give me a shout. Cant miss me cus I fly the Union Jack Rev that's in my avatar piccy. Unless its really windy then I'll have seriously ugly megavent up (if it is very windy and you're a rev flyer and struggling I have a few vented sails people can borrow although some are prototypes so your milage may vary lol).

Looking forward to seeing u all!
