R-Sky Krystal

Tue Sep 08, 2009 9:18 pm

Andy Phelps is donating his R-Sky Krystal to the library.

He is ready to send it to the first taker.

Please read the guidelines before posting, and make sure that you are prepared to undertake the costs of passing it on to the next user before requesting the kite.

If you are next on the list, you must also send ME your real name, address and a phone number before the kite will be posted to you. This is to ensure that no more kites go missing.

Many thanks to Andy for the kite...

Yes please.

Can pick up at Bristol or Weston if that helps with postage.

Thanks for delivery Matt. Bryan got a go with it at Weston but I didn't get near it, all I flew at the weekend was 60s on Cameron's Fury :-(

Andy,

Question , the spreaders seem to have been shortened, are there any other mods from standard I should be aware of (stand-offs, bridle, weight, etc)

OK, so it's heavily modded, and I've modded it more after flying it

I'll replace the T piece and fit a stronger spreader ferrule.

It flew OK, but nothing that would make me change from the Fury, I liked it better than the Miro.

When I fix it I'll put full length spreaders on it as well, can someone help me out with stand off and upper spreader lengths?

57.9 upper spreader

27.6 outer stand off

29.5 inner stand off

Can't remember if I've shortened the upper spreader: probably.

The stand off measurements are full length with a JACO sail Fitting and one of those JACO snap on spar fittings.
