Emil, let me know what the kite needs to get it air-worthy.

No one has contacted me about being next in the Gemini queue, so dubster and I are going to do a swap, so if it's ok with you Craig, I'll send him the Gemini and he'll send me the Eolo Over.
I'll post a note to say when the Gemini is on its way.

Craig / It's been really nice flying the Gemini, thank you for fixing it up and allowing me to have a go with it.
Where can I get some silicone rubber tubing like the ones fitted on the top spreader to prevent wear. That's the best solution to the problem I've seen.

Here's some photos of the Gemini along side the Flying Wings Soul.
When I first flew the Gemini it seemed smaller than my other kites.

With both kites butt up against the door, the Gemini is 21cm less tip-to-tip, but quite a lot taller. When I first got the Soul I was forever having the lines tangled around the tips. It's taking me a long time to get the Soul in a stable fade though, compared to the Gemini which I bet you could stake down, go have lunch and when you got back it would still be there quite happy.

No problem, glad you enjoyed playing with it, did the repairs hold-up?

I guess the silicon rubber is just cut from some kind of tubing or other (looks medical to me). Tim hasn't used it for years, it doesn't work as well as a proper rub-patch especially on sand.

dubster - Gemini is now on its way.

Craig - yeah the repairs were great. The silicone tubing is to prevent wear of the spreader, use a normal rub patch on the sail.

I'm so sorry feathers, I honestly forgot you'd posted about this back in Feb. Still just as well I sent it off to dubster, I would feel even more terrible if you failed your exams on account I'd sent you the Gemini :P At least now you'll have it over the summer hols!!

nah honestly don't worry, me having a gemini atm wouldn't be the best idea, finding it hard enough not to take the DS out, 25C today 5mph wind :( and i'm stuck inside.....it'll be fun flying it during the summer though, managed to arrange me a private flying site.....no chavs, and best of all no dogs!

Is this kite still around? I've always been curious about the Gemini, so I wouldn't mind having a go!

Hi, is there any chance this kite is still in circulation, I'd really like to give it a try if possible?
