VF14 - Impact is Imminent

Sun Aug 16, 2009 4:32 pm

Mike's handing the reins back for a while and I'm keying up VF14 to begin soon. Currently tying up some loose ends while on holidays, but should begin the call and get the site etc. updated by Sunday 23rd August.

Updated timetable as follows:

1st September - Round begins (officially)
    25th October - Submission deadline
11th November - Scoring deadline and (give or take 24h) resul
    ts

Mike's done an amazing job over the past couple of rounds, proving there's plenty of life in this format yet, and setting the bar very high to keep this rolling on. I hope that I can do his efforts justice.

Good luck!

Mike has done an awesome job the last few rounds. Both in handling the competition and garnering prizes. =D> Which is not going to make your job easy this round. And it all starts again in 5 days.

Davey,

Welcome back to the jump seat!

Mate don't worry to much about the 'bling', it's the great format that brings us like moths to a flame. I bet if you just put a note on "Craigs List" we'd find it ;)

It sure looked like Mike wasn't getting much 'other' work done at his end during his tenure, I suspect his overlords will be happy to have his complete and undivided attention back again :)

Regards,

WD

So VF14 is go for launch! Oh yeah....

Hello.

I'm a newbie too on VF and on this forum.
I'm waiting for VF 14th impatiently.

My intuition tells me that some french kite flyers are going to take part to VF 14th... :P

Bit of an update on deadlines etc. added to top notice - I've been away(ish) and haven't had a chance to update things until now.

Oh, forgot to say, take note that there's a small 'addition' for this round. hopefully folks won't get too twisted up about it.

HI Davey,

Question to the 'Dark Lords', if I may...

And only because I'm a perfectionist ;)

Can I have a clarification, if we incorporate the 'requirement' into our launch is that sufficient, or are we looking at a 'return to earth for the mandatory' during the routine?

Cheers,

WD
