(Welcome to FA, Henri N!)

I have to give a special shout out to Will Sturdy. You're flying was simply divine. I hope you are satisfied with your result. I think it becomes 'all about flow' when you start to pull off the kind of sequences you did...which is a very subjective part of the judging.

Piero...I think I speak for all of us...you're going down soon, fella!! ;)

Just a few observations on this last round:
There's still a strong demand for Virtual Freestyle. \:D/
People will donate prizes when asked nicely :-)
The extension from 60 seconds to 90 seconds has been taken advantage of.
The French prefer "real" Freestyle :(
More people scored Piero as the winner than anyone else.
The chasing pack of ~5 was very tight.
Video and filming quality is an issue, especially at the top end.
Some people see a 6 where another will see a 10
Doing all sorts of things to the scores (dropping high/low, etc.) has no effect.

Mike.

Yup, that's what is great about this competition. It's a style thing i guess...
very subjective, but very important.

It's not like they couldn't enter if they wanted to.

@ Piero: I sincerely hope that we keep EXPANDING the list....rather than having folks drop out. You are obviously flying alot anyway...so making a video is never that much of a chore, I venture to guess. :lookround: However, going out as a 5x champ is a good way to exit. (That being said, I sincerely hope you and the little chap keep flying VF).

I would have to say that the level of flying in this round (present post author excluded) has significantly raised the bar for VF. This round was a full blown smack down. I watched the top 10 or so more than twice before my scores were settled.

+1 Andy. And I think again, this round did alot for that possibility. Anyone who looks at the top five to ten vids will see a level of flying worthy of respect, admiration...and even participation!

If you don't have time, that's fine. Life is busy, weather is unpredictable, and sh_t happens. But VF is a such a great level...would love to see that sustained!
