Virtual Freestyle 10 - last orders please

Davey continues to be busy so he has, perhaps foolishly, allowed me to take the wheel for this round. I think you'll find me a benevolent tyrant, harsh but fair.... no, there'll be none of that.

So we can start NOW ! and I'd like to set a deadline of... Halloween (that's October 31st for non-Pagans) as that'll give us all 6½ weeks to get our act together. As is traditional we will take a "you don't follow the rules but I like your style" approach to the whole affair. Take care not to slip into "ah now, don't push it" and trouble will ensue if you encroach on "right, you're taking the piss".

Rules are
    Start on the ground.
Get filmed flailing about. (Clarification: not you - the kite...)
Choose a suitable block of between 60-90 seconds.
Make the video with no in-flight edits - titles in and out are ok!
Email me the video file (<10mb) or link to virtualfreestyle@gmail.com.
When the round finishes score your competitors videos.
    Enjoy!

Of course prizes are essential and so I'll stump up the first one:-
a vintage, pristine, unmolested, old skool Benson Beanie. Oh yes. \:D/ The winner of this will be drawn from all entrants so you can be crap and still win.

Any other donations gratefully received.

If you fancy a go at this, and who wouldn't, drop me a line to virtualfreestyle@gmail.com and we'll make ready for your submission. We are aware that the website is knackered.

Mike.

It most certainly is. And when I say Old Skool I damn well mean it. Here is the prize nestling against an old shoe I had lying around:-

Now.... which is cooler ? All you need do is enter to have the possibility of it being yours. Good flying is optional.

Two (potential) entries so far. Catching up with thisand there's money on offer there.

Tough call. Them's one slammin' pair of trainers. (You do have the other one right?)

Been meaning to do the Euro Lottery challenge as well. Thanks for the reminder.

Bryan

Our latest compact digital camera is more than capable of shooting video good enough for this. I think I even did an early VF with a phone cam, courtesy of Jason.

That's not even close to being old skool but this is :P

If Andy's going have a crack at it I guess it'll be rude not to do the same.

Pah ! Plimsoll. [-(

That's the attitude we're trying to encourage - mutually assured destruction

Re: recording your entry - you can make up a reasonable enough entry using a high-end-ish mobile 'phone. This guy managed. Any problems with format/size/etc. I can probably help with just so long as you can get some sort of file to me.

No-one, NO-ONE, can resist the siren call of the Benson Beanie. :D

Remember Juha - pull left to turn left. Ask if you need any other advice. :P

For a Benson Beanie I might even have to have a go.
