Can i join the VF?

i have some problems with english, i really dind't understand the rules :S

ok - Start on the ground.
what?? - Get filmed flailing about. (Clarification: not you - the kite...)
ok - Choose a suitable block of between 60-90 seconds. (video trick clip must have 60 or 90 seconds?)
ok - Make the video with no in-flight edits - titles in and out are ok!
Ok - Email me the video file (<10mb) or link to virtualfreestyle@gmail.com.

Yes, as you asked so nicely. :-D You've got a week to get a video in to me.

We're looking for 60~90seconds of continuous kite flight. Don't edit different bits together. Just film the kite, not the flyer. No mood shots cut in between the flying.

Check out what have previously been entered from here.

 Are you making a CGI filled ray-traced AI controlled supercooled blockbuster of a one minute kite flick?

Rendering indeed!

FYI kites used in those received so far have all been different; Cosmic TC, Anubis Cruise, Exile, Nirvana, Deep Space and Talon.

Add to this list Muse, Elysium and, the first repeat, another Talon.

Allow me  if promo. video #3 didn't adequately cover this.

From each entrant for each other entrant's video I require two numbers; one for Technical Merit (degree of trickiness), one for Freestyle Flow (amount of freestylitude). These numbers are in the range zero to ten. Ten is perfection, zero is.... as far from that as is possible.

These numbers are tallied (which is where I come in) and a result arrived at.

I'll also be needing a nomination for the recipient of the Muse.

The more entrants, the more "work" it is for each entrant to watch and score the videos (watching kite videos = work to some people) but they'll all be accessible from one website so just click on through and I'll let each entrant have their own Excel sheet (or something) to fill in. No scores = DQ which means you've wasted your own time. I'll set a deadline of... 10 days or so after closing and post results when they've arrived, along with all the draw prize winners.

We are now rocking DOUBLE FIGURES of entries my friends which I consider to be a result in itself.

I might add that the Owner of GWTW and the King of FA have both donated prizes and attempted to win them straight back again. :-D

I've got an entry ready but I want to see if I can get something better before the deadline. Had the usual problem of camera batteries extending for a whole ten minutes. New battery on order....
