Can I please (PLEASE) see some of the bloody vids now - I can't stand waiting any longer - I can't.

If you make your own entry then you could be watching a VF10 entry right now :P

I will say that it will be worth the wait. There's some pretty keen flying in the eleven entries received as of writing. Good work, fellas.

Do I have to put it on YouTube, or can I use jumpcut? Reason being that I can cut the video to size in jumpcut, and that is the only way I can.

No. We have hosting facilities for videos but please remember that other people have to DL them to watch them so a 650Mb HD masterpiece might not be well received. If you are going the non-YT route try to make sure the video format is a common one as not everyone has/wants VLC.

FYI kites used in those received so far have all been different; Cosmic TC, Anubis Cruise, Exile, Nirvana, Deep Space and Talon.

Add to this list Muse, Elysium and, the first repeat, another Talon.

Are you cattle-prodding me there, Mike? I've never upped a Talon into the VF prize pool; at least as far as I remember.

Maybe I should?

Oh perhaps. Not now, lots on. VF11 (If you are actually 'Tazing me Bro'?)

No :-D but come to think of it I might try that to drum up entries if Davey ever lets me do another round.

I imagine that would be spectacularly well received. You've not got any old prototypes lying about ? I think we've done very well for this round but, as you say, VF11 has to come along at some point.

By my reckoning there are still 9 people who have expressed an interest in taking part who have yet to come across with a video. Whilst there is no pressure for you to take part... c'mon now. Could you live with yourself when some other sod walks off with what could have been your Muse, your Benson Beanie ?!?!?

At the moment there will be a new name on the list of winners too - of the five people with that on their CV one has said he definitely isn't taking part, two haven't replied to e-mails and the other two are amongst that 9 I mentioned earlier.

I really wouldn't bank on any extension to the deadline at this stage. It's already a good turnout BTW. Congrats. to all who've put something in.=D>

You've studied the history of timely entrants I take it...

Friday 31st October - round about 11.58pm, there'll be a sudden rush - wait and see.

My chance of entry passed when the lower spreader ferrule on my vented akuji went "bang" yesterday - looks like someone else will get the Dodd Gross DVD ;-)

Hi there,

I´ve been waiting for weeks now for some decent winds... and today, finally, I got about 15 minuttes...

I'm in :-)

I have indeed but I feel oddly compelled to keep on the case, just so people don't forget

The 10Mb limit is only a restriction if you want to mail the video to VF Central as GMail sets that limit (and also the size that can be stored on GooglePages). As I've got plenty of spare Gb on my own space I can handle larger files but remember that other people have to DL these to watch so keep it reasonable (I think I said this a few posts ago...).

Total video size to date (16 entries) is 109Mb.

http://www.4shared.com have a 5GB total limit and allow single files of up to 100MB.

Well I've just sleeved my new lines and fitted my lovely bright new JOE straps (thanks for the replacements Andy - no sign of the first lot - sorry!) and now I have to go to work. It's perfect outside too! I'll spent the day planning a routine in my head and hope for good weather Friday.
