That is the footage of my one and only flying day in September... it was a fun day, would be nice if I could do it once per week rather than once per summer.

I vote for PAW being banned for this and the next ten rounds.

He didn't start on a launch.

and he's a f**king amazing flyer who whips the likes of me.

[i]Clarification: Routines must start with a launch - doesn't matter where/how it ends.

It is a nice bit of flying by PAW but I thought the rules were clarified to give everyone the same chances.

I guess the other contenders could down grade scores accordingly - if they felt so inclined.

No time this month either, so a pretty weak entry on the way.

Time is almost up - Only another few hours to get entries in.

OK - How many potential entrants didn't take part due to entries not beginning with a launch, and how do I resolve the situation? It's a fair point... Now give me a solution, remembering that I don't want to take this competition too far (as in too serious - the rules are there to prevent absolute chaos as much as anything else.)

If someone else wants to take the VF ball beyond this, then they are welcome to do so, as I don't have the time to do much beyond what I'm presently doing - I haven't even been out flying in longer than I care to remember :(

Answers on a postcard.

Nope, I hadn't fallen off the map. Although one would be excused for thinking so...

Vote.............(a poll?)
Allow PAWs entry............
Those for raise their right hand...................Those against raise their left trouser leg..............
No vote = No say.............
Go with the majority..........then move on..................

Power to the people!

Just to state my stance - I am happy for the entry to proceed as-is. I trust PAW when he says it was a second or so late, and the spins at the start (for me) acted a bit like a penalty in yachting would do.

I reiterate that I don't want this to become that serious a competition in what people expect from it - It's basically the same as the Trick Thang's in it's intention, just this one's online. The moment it goes down that route, I'm pulling the plug.

This is peer judged... there's no ethics committee or specific judging requirements...

If you don't like that his routine didn't start proper, then give him a bad score.

If he wins, then obviously it's not big enough of a deal to have a discussion about.
Anyway this cake is great.
It's so delicious and moist

I'll do a quick check when I get back home, Al. Not nearly as many as last round - but still a decent enough showing.

I'm just miffed that I haven't had time to get out flying at all for the last 3-4 rounds :'( Dang this part-time degree thing.

OK - Entries are now closed for round 8.

I'll collate the vids as soon as I can and get the voting pages sorted.
