Round 8 - 1st August to 30th September

Wed Aug 01, 2007 1:35 pm

Main site update by the end of today (all things being equal)!

Next round of Virtual Freestyle starts today with entries due in by the close of Sunday 30th September. Scoring due by 14th October (at the latest) and results published thereafter.

Rules clarifications/modification for this round as follows:

Clarification: Routines must start with a launch - doesn't matter where/how it ends.

Modification: Timeframe has now changed from 60 seconds to entries being anywhere between 60 and 90 seconds (give or take). If you feel that you've nailed a nice entry in 60 seconds that's fine, if it takes 90 that's fine too.

All previous rules still apply.

I'm hoping to provide clearer guidelines with regards scoring each entry to really break down what the difference between 'Artistic' and 'Technical' really mean.

Furthermore I have been approached with prize offers and will complete disucssions with the relevant parties and give an update accordingly.

Nope, I hadn't fallen off the map. Although one would be excused for thinking so...

Davey

Well done you have chosen the new time rule both wisely and fairly in that it will allow better flyer's to shine and won't prevent flyer's like myself form entering. :D :D

It's with half an eye on the pending winter weather if I start much later... Not that the UK weather has been overly good thus far :?

Can we start with many many loops (kite spins) ????
Because the camera was one second too late (we haven`t checked that on the field that day), but after the launch I made many Spins !
If not, I can not compete this time, because I have no time(too much work) to film !!!!
