Perhaps 'valuable' is the adjective we are looking for here?

No. Big it is. Maybe I might even add "shiny" in there too to really draw in the target audience.

Are you trying to honestly tell me that you wouldn't want a big kite prize ? :-s

Back on line with my video camera and considering what music to use for the next VF. Are there any restrictions to the music you can use for promotional / competition videos that you film yourself that dont infringe on copyright?

What would be the judges interpretation of an Andy Warhol appraoch to the next VF - I was thinking the format should be minimum 5 hours footage with minimal movement, or perhaps repeating the SAME trick ad nauseum. :)

I'd draw the line at 5 hours of the 180 fade wrap...

Forgive me asking again but "are there any restrictions to the music you can use for promotional / competition videos that you film yourself that dont infringe on copyright?"

In other words, if I did my vid and put a George Michael track over the top of it -only for 1 minute of course - would he own my ass forever?

Given the tiny circulation of kite videos I wouldn't be too worried about it.

Technically I suppose you should approach someone for permission, but it's just not worth the trouble. You could always compose something original for your entry I suppose.

Still here Leolo - I've just been otherwise occupied.

I will get myself sorted out and stop all the procrastination.

Repeat this aloud three times daily until VF5: The Final Frontier hoves into view. :-)

Plenty of willing volunteers to help you out if needs be.
