How about we just forget the unofficial score altogether? If they aren't going to go to the trouble to vote I say we forget 'em. If they want to vote, they can enter a video themselves. :P

The difference between the positions in the offical and unofficial scorings are marked...Any theories as to why?

The fliers/competitors know what's what. People who are only judges know bugger all.

Based on empirical evidence.

Well done Lars! I haven't managed to watch all the vids because I seem to be having codec errors etc but saw Lars' video. That wap-do-wap cascade was too rude, I nearly swallowed the lid off my pen.

If you already have the quicktime codec and it's not working change the .mp4 to .avi for a try it may work well for you! 8)

I did not vote because i thought that puting name on vf2_new.avi (hello Juha) or vf_2_fireball.avi (Hi Rob) taked to much of my free time!
but i have see all the video and Lars would had lead my vote!
Great job to all and thanks for sharing! :o)

ps: please fly during day time! 8)

Apart from Pim's and Kevins, the quicktime ones were the only ones that worked for me. I've got the quicktime player and windows media player (7 I think). I have problems with codec arrors on 90% of .wmv's, .avi's .mpeg's. I've even had more sucess managing to get some windows media files to replay on quicktime than with WMP7. I'm loathed to download yet another player. Computers suck.

This videoplayer realy works great! it even plays divx files, divx itself
cannot play?? it is more or less an interface that work with windows
mediaplayer. exept for quicktime i play all other files on it.
don't fotget to check the mediatypes when installing.
try it you won't be dissapointed.

Cheers Eddie

Jason, have you dowloaded the DivX codec? I've hardly had any problems with viewing in either WMP9 or 10 since I installed it.

Here's a link:

DivX Codec

The download includes the player, but the install gives you the option for Codec only. Having said that, the player's tiny and seems to play lots of formats including .mov and .mp4 (although sometimes without sound).

Thanks for everyone's help. I've downloaded the DivX codec and they all seem to play fine on WMP now. Sorted.
Jason.
