VF Round 2 Prize update

Wed Oct 06, 2004 6:06 pm

Just wanted to give everyone an update on the 'Prize' situation here. As well as the LPG lineset being offered as a prize for the Novice / Fun Flyer class, Sven Arnesen of Aerialis has very kindly donated a Sieberts Sweety for the contest. The winner of the Sweety will be randomly drawn and announced when the competition results are made available.

A very big thanks goes to Sven for offering this prize... Should give plenty of incentive for everyone to compete!

So it's a prize for entering rather than for winning, is that right.

Erm - yeah...

It was agreed with Sven that the Sweety would be offered to all competitors - not for any given class on the grounds that anyone interested in entering would at least have a chance of winning something.

I'm no trying to detract from the eventual winners of each class - it's more a means to an end in getting more entrants and better exposure for the format.
