Numbers have doubled since the first one.

Anyone enjoying the hospitality of Ed's hosting might consider a paypal donation to kHiTe.org (see the button on his front page). (And no, he hasn't asked me to say this ;))

Hmm Ed that's a bit of an existentialist argument..:) not sure of the logic of how you can be beaten in a competition that you haven't even entered. here's a life I would have lived if I'd been born etc

I'm just waiting on 2 more scores to come in before all the results are issued. I'd expect things to be wrapped up and announced by Monday 22nd November - Again looking at a 12 midday release.

:D

Nope, I hadn't fallen off the map. Although one would be excused for thinking so...

As per round 1 - Scoring is a requirement of entry - Non-scoring competitors will be assumed to be withdrawing. I'm hoping that the longer scoring time for this round will give everyone ample opportunity to vote.

What about the people who are actually working at home instead of taking it easy watching kite vids? :-)

Yes, I'm afraid I'm the bad boy who hasn't submitted scores yet. Sorry, but I've had several thousand lines of Template Toolkit code in my head and no space for anything else. I've downloaded all the vids now and I'll watch and score them over the weekend. Promise.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, don't hassle me, my scores are in now ;-)

Well done to everyone who took part. There's some really nice flying going on there. Thanks also to Davey for his hard work.

Couple of suggestions for next month. First, let's set a date up front for when scores must be submitted so we all know when the deadlines are. That should keep the slackers (like me) in line.

Second, can we agree on a naming format for video clips. For example: vf2_Andy_Wardley.avi

That makes it a lot easier to figure out which video is which when you've downloaded them all into a directory, and avoids the possibility of two people giving their clip the same file name.

And third, can we stop Lars from entering next month? He's just too damn good! :-)

Cheers
A
